SmartHack - 6th EmP Hackfest
The SmartHack was hosted in 2024 from February 18th to February 19th. It was our sixth event.
The theme was: Smart Living - create a solution to making living more convenient or simple using technology
There were 85 participants, making up 21 teams.
The 6th EmP Hackfest has concluded!

SmartHack received a fantastic amount of registrants of all ages ranging from middle schoolers to high schoolers. There were 85 participants, making up 21 teams. We were excited to see so many participants of all experience levels work together to solve a problem and complete incredible projects.
Our theme this year was Smart Living, with the goal to create a solution that made living more convenient or sustainable using technology. We are incredibly grateful to the the workshop leads, who volunteered their time to host workshops on website design, camera detection, and CAD. We also thank our mentors and judges for volunteering their time to participate in our hackathon. Our mentors worked with participants, coaching and helping them with their products, while our judges listened to all the presentations and provided great feedback for each team.
We want to thank EmP board and volunteers for all the great support. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
